Manual Precedences
You use the Manual precedences data grid to specify precedences between individual blocks that are not spatially related within a location or between locations manually.
Note: To use Manual precedences, you must use GEOVIA Surpac.
To create the block precedences manually, you first use Surpac to digitise segments by snapping to the points that represent blocks in the msi_model scheduling string files. The msi_model string files are located in the results_<scenario> folder in the working directory. The block that corresponds to the second point you select is not mined until the block represented by the first point you select has been mined.
Note: There could be other precedences acting on the second block, which mean that it does not become available immediately after the first block is mined.
After digitising the block precedences in a new layer in Surpac, you save the layer to a new string file, and select the string file in the String file column of the Manual precedences data grid.
Note: The string numbers within the string file are not important.
